PDE Bridge Injector Retainer Kit for Audi, Seat, Skoda & Volkswagen 2.0 16v PD136 / PD140 TDI Diesel Engines

This injector retainer kit reduces movement of Bosch PDE Injectors found on PD136 & PD140 16v 2.0 TDI Engines, installing this kit will prevent damage to the injector seats.

Overtime Bosch PDE injectors can leak due to wear around the injector seats pn the cylinder head, installing this kit centralises the injectors with a solid clamping force drastically reducing the possiblity of movement.

When encountering this issue most owners opt to replace the injector seals which is not always a simple fix, even brand new seals can leak when the injector is not held down sufficiently.

Some signs of PD injector seat damage include:

• Poor Starting Behavior (especially at operating temperature or after a long period of idle time)
• Restless engine running / idling
• Loss of Performance
• Loss of Compression
• Engine Oil Diluted by Diesel Admixture
• Mis-firing / Low Oil Pressure (bearing shells already worn out by diesel in the oil)

Adjustment Plates:

Included in the kit are 0.5mm adjustment plates which allow custom preload on each injector depending on the engine.
