Oil Coolers are an important addition to high performance engines. Engine Oil can easily overheat causing it to becomes thinner and offer less protection to vital engine parts, resulting in premature engine wear. This is especially a concern on the VW Transporters which are known for quite high oil temperatures.

This kit can be universally mounted where suitable using the brackets supplied, but most commonly fitted at the front of the vehicle above the intercooler.

We supply a thermostatic sandwich plate which fits between the EGR Cooler and Oil Filter, this thermostat opens at 80°, when below this temperature the oil stays away from the coolant circuit allowing the engine to get up to temperature faster and maintain a constant temperature.
